The Piccolo Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. awarded The Fitch Home in Melrose a grant of $2,500, to sponsor day trips, including “Lunch on Mary” for the residents. A historically guided bus trip to New Hampshire’s coastline and a delicious seafood lunch in Kittery, ME was enjoyed by the residents on June 12th. On the way to dine, a visit to the “Nubble”, Cape Neddick Lighthouse to view this historic landmark was enjoyed. Cape Neddick Lighthouse is one of the last eight lights in Maine to still have its Fresnel lens. This Fall a foliage trip is planned.
